Tom grew up on a farm in Hinesburg, VT and has lived in Hinesburg all his life. Tom built his first big project at the age of 15, in his mother’s living room. The china cabinet turned out so well that she insisted that the piece stay in the home upon completion.

After the farm animals were sold in 1986, Tom went to work for a local lumber mill where he gained extensive knowledge of local hardwoods and woodworking equipment. This led him to what came next, and the self-taught cabinet maker has been delighting clients with custom kitchens, bathroom vanities, mudrooms and other hand-crafted cabinetry for the past 15+ years.

Tom is now turning his talents to crafting tables, benches and other items with live edge tops. He is excited about this new venture and where the next 15 years will lead.
